Watering Made Easy Sprinkler Station Squared #SS13

I bought this sprinkler set-up for a narrow stretch of grass on the side of my house and it works great no more dried up grass on that side of the house. I have a sprinkler system but that zone no longer exists in my system so i bought these as an easy replacement.

I have a lot of irrigation in my yard and this product got my curiousity. The product description is non-existant, who would buy something that nothing is really known as to how you use it, etc. It appears that it is a "U" shaped piece of pipe with a sprinkler head at one end for ? In thinking just a bit, if you want to water plants without an irrigation system, just make a circular ridge around each plant to hold water and then use a hose on a slow trickle to flood each plant. Do this maybe twice a week and you will do a better job than this will and you spend no money.

We enjoy this fountain so much that we are ordering another one after 3 years. We consider this fountain an essential happiness purchase. It is in full Texas sun on a patio, surrounded by pot plants. Wildlife love it and large animals can tip it over leaving the pump gasping for water. When we travel, we remove the pump to be sure it doesn't run dry. It is a bit tricky to empty because water stays under the rim.
