This is a great little fountain that my birds just love. It works well, it's light-weight, and it's easy to clean. I also like the black finish, because the fountain always looks nice, even when it's a little dirty. I've had fountains with lighter-colored finishes before, and I had to constantly scour them because they showed every little piece of dirt and grime. (And if you have birds coming to your fountain, it will always be dirty.) I've had other solar powered fountains, and this one works much better than any of the others I've owned. When it receives direct sunlight, which is about five hours a day in our yard, it runs beautifully. When the sun isn't directly hitting the solar panel, it runs a little less exuberantly, but it still sounds lovely. I would definitely recommend this product.

This looks lovely in my yard, and works just as advertised. I wish they made one with the same design with solar-battery backup.

What a great Solar Fountain that doubles as a bird bath! The only problem is the colour. I don't believe you should have black or such dark colours in the garden. I found a great piece from UK Water Features and it really sits well. I was surprised how powerful solar power can be. Solar power is perfectly fine with such gentle flows.
